Help Us to Make a Difference

With Your Gift

The youth we serve have a variety of needs when they come into our care. We have developed several initiatives to help meet some of these needs that are not covered by either federal or state funding. Without the generosity of donors, like you, these opportunities would not be possible.

If you would like to make a donation we would appreciate any help you can give us. You can make a general donation that will be used to help care for our children.

Your Generous Donations will be used to support our children in the following areas:

Back to School Basics

The back to school supply lists from schools have become quite extensive. We seek to help our children as they are returning to school in the fall by ensuring they have appropriate school supplies. With your help we will supply a backpack, notebook paper, composition books, pencils, pens, crayons, markers, glue sticks, calculators, etc.

Summer Camp & Recreation

The generosity of donors allows children to participate in a variety of summer camps and recreational activities. The benefits of this program range from physical, artistic, mental development all the way to emotional and social development. Summer camps emphasize good health, problem-solving skills, teamwork and learning to get along well with others. Summer activities allow our children to develop a sense of belonging, learning, cooperating and contributing within a relaxed and supportive environment. Your donations make these experiences possible.

Christmas

The holidays are a special time of the year and we want to make sure that our children are not forgotten. Our goal is to make sure that each of our children receives at least one item off their wish list. We have a program where individuals and businesses can sponsor, or “adopt”, a child for Christmas and take his or her wish list and purchase items for them. If it is easier, donors may also make cash donations for the holidays and our employees will do the shopping for them.

You are Loved Program

This program was developed because many of our children come to us with few belongings of their own. Your donations allow us to have a duffle bag available to give to each child that comes into our care. The bags are filled with basic hygiene items, school supplies, a stuffed animal, blanket, night light and other little treats based on age. The bags are prepared in three age group categories: birth- 2 years; 3-11 years; 12 years and up.
